The goal of this project is to develop a simulation environment using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, an advanced robotics simulation platform. The simulation environment will utilise internal images from Tanunda Lutheran Home to create a virtual representation of the space. The primary objective is to enable the simulation of robot navigation within the simulated environment while providing the ability to modify various parameters, such as foot traffic and the number of robots, to observe their effects on the system. This project will also offer valuable insights into the challenges of deploying robots in real-world environments and the importance of accurate simulations in their development and testing. Nvidia Isaac Sim was utilised as it allows the integration of the Robot Operating System (ROS). Nvidia Isaac Sim is a powerful application that requires the necessary hardware to run the application and robotic simulation. The hardware required was 32GB of RAM, CPU of Intel Core i7 and GPU of GeForce RTX 207. Amazon Web Services, a cloud-based computing platform was used to fulfil these hardware requirements.
